    09Jan JustSkip New Download

I was recently asked if JustSkip for iTunes was still available for download, and the answer is very much yes.

I have just finished updating my application for full iTunes 9 support and added some new features to support the latest Apple iTunes API.

JustSkip can be downloaded from here

JustSkip is still very much in a beta mode and has no GUI. Just download the zip file and extract it to any directory the run the exe file. The application will run in a command line window and start watching for skipped tracks and marking them as such.

Closing JustSkip is easy as well, ether close iTunes (JustSkip will realise your doing this and shut its self down) or slide your volume slider to 0 (mute) JustSkip will again notice this as shut its self down.

I am planning to build a nice and simple GUI that will sit in the windows tray area, but for now the command windows is functional so I am putting the download link back up.

If you have any problems or find bugs, please let me know so I can get them fixed as soon as possible.

Hello, it's Anonymous again! Thanks so much for the download link :) up until now I've been trying to train myself to rewind the song into the 2-20 second window before skipping so it counts. Quick question: JustSkip only recognizes skips on iTunes, right? not if you're listening to your iPod? (i'm pretty sure that's how it works, but i wanted to make sure) so anyway, thanks again for your hard work!
